That gets us to the question whether our current educational system equips the graduates to think "beyond the obvious" and evaluate options of joining a startup as a career. Don’t blame the educational systems. Are we as students or parents of students, equipped to think beyond joining traditional professional courses. We are ready to throw millions to see our children coming out convocated as professionals. I'm sure that there are lots of people out there who are in jobs that they don't enjoy but they like to continue for financial and social reasons. Complaining to these people about how working in this way can really drain your energy is just waste of time. What do you think? The trend is now changing with the growth technology and the resulted lessening distances between people, which in turn leads to astonishing multiplication of ideas and concepts day by day. But there's still a long way to before we actually accept entrepreneurship as a 'way of life' here in India.
Hey, Stop Searching and Start Up !!!!
Info Post
There was a time when it was rare for an educated young Indian to pursue a career that did not offer him the security of an assured monthly pay cheque. Those who had decided to take “the road less travelled” – entrepreneurship, were considered as oddballs by the people around. But today, this perspective is slowly getting moth-eaten. Parents of young entrepreneurs today don’t hesitate to tell with a tinge of pride that their child is doing a start up. We can say that an entrepreneurial eco system is getting sprung up, but I won’t say that entirely it is.
