Only One 300x600 Ad Unit Is Allowed Per Page
About 4 weeks ago,Google Adsense team had released a new ad unit for all publishers. This new ad unit is huge in size. As the size of this ad unit is bigger than any other ad unit,Google Adsense team has announced a changed in their policy.Due to this Adsense publisher can only have one 300x600 ad unit per page.

In Words By Google,

Because this new format is larger than all our other ad units, we want to help ensure a balance between content and ads across publisher sites. With this in mind, going forward, publishers will be permitted to place a maximum of one 300x600 ad unit on each page. If you’ve placed more than one 300x600 ad unit per page on your site, we ask that you remove any additional ad units by Jan 10, 2013. We’ll also be sending email notifications shortly to affected publishers, asking them to make this update.

If any publisher would have two or more 300x600 ad unit there will be no space for the content on the page.
Google has given a deadline till 10 January, 2013.After the deadline, Google will send notifications to all publisher and if any one fails to do this change Google has a right to ban his Adsense account.

Editor's Suggestion:

Google does not want to ban some accounts nor wants to put stress on publisher. This policy change is just for comfort of viewer, publisher and advertiser. As this ad unit is large in size, it will surely increase CPR.This in return will increase your Adsense income.
